Plant a Row for the Hungry
One of the best parts of our gardening adventures last year was having the ability to give food away. We gave a bag of vegetables to almost everyone that came by. We had a box next to the garden where others could donate to the local food bank. I made two trips a week to two churches who gave away food to the hungry and the local Alano clubs. If all of us grew just a couple plants, we could help out many. Something to think about it when you plant your garden.
